The Code of Ethics is the overarching guide to maintaining that trust, operating properly and acting with a high level of integrity at all times by following four basic principles:
- Be honest, fair, and trustworthy in all our LKQ activities and relationships.
- Comply with the laws and regulations governing our business.
- Treat everyone with respect and dignity.
- Promptly report any concerns about compliance with the law, LKQ policies or the Code.
Furthermore, in Italy, the “Modello di Organizzazione, Gestione e Controllo” (“Organisation, Management and Control Model”, adopted according to Legislative Decree 231/2001) outlines the scope of operations, the recipients, the offences, the relevant penalty system and the powers and functions of the Supervisory Body. The Model therefore constitutes an indispensable document for all our Group’s collaborators to prevent the commission of offences and unlawful practices within the Company.
